Welcome to Le Vaudoué
Le Vaudoué is one of those villages where the loudest things you hear are the church bells and the wind in the pines. Our house looks straight out at the bell tower, and you only have to walk down the street to step into the forest — no car needed.
Inside, the stone walls keep it cool on the hottest days, the fireplace warms up autumn evenings, and there's room for seven without anyone getting in each other's way. People come here to climb, to walk, or simply to do nothing in the garden — and often all three.

The garden
Fully walled and with no overlooking neighbours, the garden is the house's real luxury. Set the table for lunch in the shade, fire up the barbecue in the evening, let the kids run around safely while you put your feet up on a lounger.
It's also the perfect spot to lay the crash pads out to dry and replay the day's problems with a drink in hand.
Climbers, you're home
The Trois Pignons begin at the edge of the village. Rent everything you need on site to travel light: three crash pads (Beal, Black Diamond, Snap) and bikes. Head to Roche aux Sabots at dawn, and come back to dry your shoes by the fire.

Frequently asked questions
How does check-in work?
Check-in is self-service: you let yourself in whenever suits you with a secure key box. You can also drop off luggage in case of an early arrival or a late departure.
Is bed linen provided?
Yes: bed linen, bath towels and kitchen cloths are provided and already there. You'll also find extra pillows and blankets in the cupboards.
Where do we park?
Street parking is free, right outside, and there's no through traffic around the house.
Is it suitable for children?
Absolutely. Travel cot, high chair, baby bath and tableware, fireplace guard, window guards, games, books and even children's bikes — and we can recommend babysitters.
Is there a minimum stay?
The minimum stay is 2 nights. For long climbing weekends and family weeks alike, just write to us and we'll sort it out.
Is there a TV or air conditioning?
No, and that's a little bit on purpose: no TV, no tumble dryer, no air conditioning. The stone walls keep the house cool in summer, a drying rack does the dryer's job, and a record player, books and games happily replace the screen.
